Earth Studies, Taxes, et al

Today the girls and I watched some videos on Brainpop about Earth Day and related topics. They learned about fossil fuels, extinction, natural resources, energy sources, ice ages, and some others. Georgia also took quizzes after watching them, which we printed from Brainpop.

She also watched the video on taxes and took the quiz.

Olivia worked on shapes some more today, practiced drawing them and finding objects around the house of each shape.

This evening we all went out for some geocaching. Out of the three, we only found one. It was at the county's first school house, which the girls enjoyed checking out.

And while we were out we saw a lot of birds, mostly American Robins and European Starlings. We also saw spring flowers and trees.
