Birds and Blueberries

The girls have had fun trying to identify birds that come to Mark's new feeders. This one is a female House Finch.

And Olivia wanted you all to see how HUGE her blueberry was.

She said it was delicious!

While we were enjoying some blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries, the girls tried finding their seeds. Olivia said when the birds or other animals eat the berries, the seeds don't get to grow...so we talked about how animals can help spread the seeds, too!
