They are back...

The girls had a great time in Pittsburgh with Meme and Steve. They went to the zoo, children's museum, they went on a boat ride, and toured the city. Georgia brought along a disposable camera to take her own pictures. The photos below were taken by her unless otherwise noted.

The girls checking out some critters. A skink is on the left, milipede on the right. Georgia said the skink felt like corn on the cob. Livy was the only one brave enough to touch the milipede. (photo by Meme)

Geocaching II

We went geocaching again at the Shawnee Prairie Preserve. We've managed to find three of the five so far.

There were a lot of butterflies and other interesting insects walking amid the prairie.

The girls especially enjoyed crossing the creek on the bridge.

Georgia found a tiny toad that was camouflaged really well against the woodland floor.

Olivia loved holding the toad.

Here, Mark is getting the micro cache we found.

Georgia and I found a cache in a fallen tree. We are deciding what we want to trade.

Catching Livy Reading...

PRICELESS!!!!

Play-Doh Fun!

Sewing

Georgia and I had fun last week with making some clothes for her Barbies.

She even made some jewelry, too.

It was a lot of fun, and we can't wait to make some more!
