We also took a walk through the preserve, but the mosquitoes cut our walk short. Georgia used the wildflower field guide to look up some flowers before we left, though.
Saturday morning, Georgia had her nature class. It was about hummingbirds. She said she had a lot of fun. They learned all about hummingbirds, did a lot of activities, including pretending to be a hummingbird and trying to gather pieces of rice in a sort of relay race. They also got to see some hummingbirds at the feeders and flowers at the Nature Center.
When Olivia and I picked Georgia up, the girls stayed a bit and looked around. They liked looking through the touch bin at the various specimens.
