I set up a free account at Photobucket.com and uploaded photos. They have an easy slideshow creator with many different options.
After saving the slideshow I created, I copy the code they make for blogs and websites and paste it onto the blog post in the "edit html" section.
There are other free photo hosting sites that probably allow you to make slideshows, as well. But Photobucket is the one with which I am familiar.
